What land are you on?

As I take a moment to connect to my breath, body & the earth beneath my feet, I respectfully acknowledge the Widjabul Wia-bal people of the Bundjalung Nation as the custodians of this beautiful land in which I live, tend, play, create & connect. I extend my respects to all First Nations people of so-called Australia, and Elders past & present. I deeply honour their enduring connection to Country & Culture. Sovereignty was never ceded, and the harmful impacts of colonisation continue to this day. As a person of settler lineage, I take responsibility for the acts of injustice chosen by my collective, and grow my practice of allyship toward long term solidarity, justice & treaty.
